About CRM Verdict

We run GoHighLevel every day to capture and manage the leads that come in from client websites, and we check every price and plan claim against the vendor's own pages before it goes on this site. That combination is the whole premise behind CRM Verdict, and it's rarer than it should be: most "best CRM" roundups are a rewritten spec sheet with an affiliate link stapled to the bottom.

How we review

Our GoHighLevel coverage starts from working use. We run it for client websites: form submissions and calls land in its CRM, move through pipelines, and trigger follow-up automations. That's where our view of its lead management, automations and day-to-day rough edges comes from. For the parts of the platform we don't run ourselves, and for the competitors we compare it against (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ClickFunnels and the rest), we work from the vendor's pricing pages, help documentation and terms, plus recurring patterns in user reviews and community threads. We say which is which: when a claim comes from user reports rather than the vendor's docs, the page says so.

Every review and comparison on this site is measured against the same five questions before it publishes. Does the page answer the exact thing someone searched for? Does it go deeper than what's already ranking? Does it deliver an actual judgment instead of a feature list? Is the affiliate link placed somewhere it can't distort the recommendation? And is the affiliate relationship disclosed in plain language, not buried in a footer? A page that can't answer yes to all five doesn't go live.

How we verify pricing

Software pricing moves without notice, and a lot of "best CRM" content still quotes numbers a vendor retired two years ago. We pull every price, plan limit, and feature claim straight from the vendor's own pricing page at the time of writing, not from a competitor's comparison chart or a scraped database. Where a vendor's page conflicts with its own support docs or a third-party source, we say so in the text instead of presenting a single number as settled fact. Every figure on this site traces back to a source URL we logged when we checked it; once that source goes stale, the number is due for a recheck.

How we make money

CRM Verdict is monetized primarily through GoHighLevel's affiliate program. When you sign up for GoHighLevel through a link on this site, we may earn a recurring commission for as long as you stay a customer. Some comparison and alternative pages also link to secondary programs. None of that changes what we write. See our affiliate disclosure for the full breakdown.

Who's behind it

CRM Verdict is an independent publication run by a single operator who uses GoHighLevel to manage client leads. We publish under the CRM Verdict name rather than a personal byline, and we don't use invented author personas. It is not owned or operated by GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or any other CRM vendor reviewed on this site, and no page goes up until it clears the standard above.
