Frequently asked questions
What is GoHighLevel SaaS Mode, and do I need it for this math?
SaaS Mode is GoHighLevel’s built-in white-label resale system — it automates sub-account provisioning, lets you set your own pricing tiers, and handles billing through Stripe. It’s only unlocked on the $497/mo Agency Pro (SaaS Pro) plan. You can still resell access manually on lower tiers, but this calculator’s markup math assumes you’re charging clients a flat monthly fee regardless of which plan handles the billing.
Which GHL plan should I pick to resell sub-accounts?
If you want automated billing and to rebill usage (SMS, email, AI) with a markup, you need Agency Pro at $497/mo. The Unlimited plan ($297/mo) gives you unlimited sub-accounts and white-label branding, but usage can only be passed through at cost — no markup. Starter ($97/mo) caps you at 3 sub-accounts and has no rebilling at all.
What’s a realistic resale price to charge clients?
Most agencies charge somewhere between $200 and $500 per sub-account per month, depending on how much setup, support, and done-for-you work is bundled in. A bare-bones "software only" resale tends to sit lower ($97–$197); a managed service with funnels, automations, and support built in typically commands $300+.
